what is fashion?
Fashion is anything and everything to do with clothing and accessories. It is about creating a style using apparel.
Most people, when discussing fashion, are speaking of high-end designers and clothing that goes beyond jeans and a t-shirt. Some of the more fashionable designers include Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior, Prada, Vera Wang, Alexander McQueen, Zac Posen, Moschino, Jovovich-Hawk, Proenza Schouler, Donna Karan… the list goes on and on.
Clothing and accessories that are considered “fashionable” include evening gowns, high heels, cocktail dresses, silk blouses, and costume jewelry.
People often develop their own fashion styles. To name a few: preppy (polos and sweaters about the shoulders); goth (black mourning clothes, pale faces); sophisticated (fitted suits and power heels); traditional(skinny jeans and fantastic uggs)and trendy (which can change on a day to day basis – it is whatever is current and new).
